Yes I did!!! It wasn’t easy to pass, but I did it well. First, the ladie ask to me take a ride with her. She shows me how the old 30 years old truck works and I must say that it scared me a lot. The truck is manual and there’s no power steering. She told me to try it on and don’t forget the lights, the hand brake, the clutch and the horn at every 3 seconds when I do a reverse.Â
The steering wheel has a very big gap when you turn left to right or vice versa. It’s really hard to stay on a straigth line. I passed all requirement without any problem. She told me that I was the first to make a perfect reverse in a test since she makes this job. However, she told me that I have to pratice to stay center on a straigth line.
It’s really not like driving a car. When I go back into my car, I thought I was in a brand new car. Their trucks are not in good shape. Becoming a UPS driver can make me feel better, I mean… lose some weight.Â.
Tomorow it will be my drug and alcohol test. I’m gonna give you news about it.
